Earlier this week Rico Nasty dropped new song "Vaderz." It followed her other recent releases "Magic" and "Buss," as well as Flo Milli collaboration "Money," with the assumption being that these songs would appear on the previously announced project Rx. However, in a series of tweets posted on Thursday The FADER cover star revealed that she has scrapped the plan to release Rx and is, instead, focusing her attention on a new album titled LaRuinas. She went on to add that she may post some Rx songs on SoundCloud at some point.
"I’m going through a lot of transitions rn. And it got scrapped," Rico tweeted. "There’s a whole entire new thing coming." When a fan suggested there would be a two year wait for the new project, she corrected him and said it would be nearer two months away.

Rico Nasty's most recent project is 2020's Nightmare Vacation. Last weekend she joined Doja Cat on stage at Coachella to perform their fan-favorite "Tia Tamera." You can revisit her very entertaining appearance on The FADER Uncovered podcast with Mark Ronson here.
