Rihanna will take the stage at halftime tonight, as the Kansas City Chiefs battle the Philadelphia Eagles for the Super Bowl LVII title. The game kicks off at 6:30 p.m. EST at the State Farm Arena in Glendale, Arizona, stream live on Fox and via the Fox Sports app.
The Barbadian R&B superstar and fashion mogul, whose last album Anti dropped in 2016, was announced as the Apple Music Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show headliner in September. Since then, she’s shared two new songs — “Lift Me Up” and “Born Again” — both released as part of the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack. “Lift Me Up” was nominated for Best Original Song at both the 2023 Golden Globes and Academy Awards.
Last month, Apple Music released the official Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show trailer. And on Thursday, Rihanna revealed at a press conference that tonight’s setlist went through at least 39 iterations before reaching its final form.
