Grimes' latest Twitter rant is about childrens' music, which she thinks is an "insidious artistic scourge" that is "devoid of humanity or beauty." The experimental pop artist clarified she's only half-joking.
When short stories author Sam Buntz asked her what she thinks about Raffi, the writer of childrens songs "Baby Beluga," "Bananaphone," "All I Really Need," and "Down by the Bay," her reaction was positive.
"I enjoyed raffi as a kid - I haven't listened as an adult but good reminder in case it's good that could be good," Grimes explained. "But my kids like regular music so we don't need kids music but the dang school got them hooked[.]"
It's unclear what prompted the thread of social media posts, but the singer does have two children with real-life supervillain Elon Musk, X Æ A‑XII and Exa Dark Sideræl.
