Last month Cash Cobain dropped a new song titled "Slizzy Gods" and revealed he had signed to Giant Music. Today the producer and rapper who helped make sample drill the sound of New York City is back with more new music and details of an upcoming album.
Pretty Girls Love Slizzy is the name of the album, though a release date remains TBC. Cobain's latest single "Slizzy Talk," however, is streaming below. The soft and lilting production, underpinned by a sturdy bassline, acts as the perfect backing for the New Yorker to compare himself to greatness, spitting, "I feel like 2Pac ‘cause I’m ‘bout to hit ‘em up."
Cobain is fresh off the release of his latest EP Slizzy Day, the follow-up to his beloved 2022 Chow Lee collab, 2 Slizzy 2 Sexy.
Speaking about inking his deal with Giant back in June, Cobain said: "I think I’m really about to take over the world with the label and we are about to really go up! The reason I wanted to sign is because I wanted to go to that next level — we went really far by ourselves and we wanted to find someone to elevate our brand and take us to new heights and Giant was a great fit. This is going to be the slizziest year ever."
