Now that the writers strike has ended, America’s favorite sketch show to hate is returning for its 49th season. Saturday Night Live’s first two music guests of the season have been confirmed: On October 14, Ice Spice will be performing during the season’s premiere, hosted by ex-cast member Pete Davidson-hosted premiere. Then, on October 21, Bad Bunny will host and perform. The Puerto Rican megastar made his first musical guest appearance on the show in 2021. This will be his first time hosting.

It’s been a busy year for both Ice Spice and Bad Bunny. Last month, Ice Spice was named Best New Artist at the 2023 MTV VMAs. Meanwhile, Bad Bunny has been nominated for six Latin Grammys and 15 Billboard Music Awards. He’s scheduled to perform at the latter ceremony Thursday night (October 5) and has promised a “worldwide TV premiere” of a new song.
