Young Conor planned for two seperate tours this year - one jaunt for each piece of his stylistically disparate double record set that dropped this past January (lead-off cuts from both topped the singles chart with a one-two punch, Puff Daddy style).
The "traditional Bright Eyes show" first leg of the trek, for I’m Wide Awake, It’s Morning, went down a while back, and now dude is ready to get Digital Ash in a Digital Urn jumped off tour style.
Backed by members of the Faint and Nick Zinner of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, the Bright Eyes itinnerary includes a stop at Coachella and a week-long residency at Webster Hall in NYC, it will be the first - and perhaps only? - time that Bright Eyes will have the ability to recreate the songs from Digital in a live setting. Mars Black and our pals Airborn Audio will support. Dates after the jump.
