When we went to Huntsville, Alabama for the Paper Route Recordz story in FADER 51, a couple things became clear: There are a lot of dudes there who can really rap and also none of the producers are afraid to be a little corny if they feel like it (that's how we got Jackie Chain's "Blinded by the Light"). "Everywhere I Go" by G-Side is the same sorta deal. Lyrically it's ultra depressing and honest, but the chorus veers uncomfortably close to nu-metal land (so, like...1999?) Either way, minus that chorus—or if you have fond memories of the musical landscape of the late '90s, plus that chorus— Huntsville turned out another jam.
