On each episode of FADER TV's LA Is A Nice Place To Live, the West Coast staff takes in some of the city's culture and fun good times. This episode finds the crew crossing the Orange Curtain to check out The Crosby in Santa Ana, simultaneously pushing the limits of their video camera and semantics. The Crosby is partly owned by Free the Robots, who this past Friday night did a beat set along with Los Angeles proper's Daedelus. While both acts pulled off awesome sets, we have to admit that our favorite part of the night was the one-two punch of Stella and cajun shrimp pizza, which we enjoyed three feet away from where Daedelus was playing Brain Age.
