Holy crap, what a show! Though we technically only watched a combined fifteen minutes of it live, we have spent the morning after transfixed by Gawker's Top Ten Moments (Petit!), Hugh Jackmans' song and dance on Vulture, and the above video from CNN IBN in which "India reacts" to Slumdog's sweep, and by "India" they mean several guys in the green room and a bunch of little kids in the same Dharavi neighborhood where the movie was set and cast who can now finally know a dignified, attainable and, most importantly, non-criminal way out of the slums …. movie stardom! Seriously, that movie could've been better, but congrats anyway on breaking barriers and setting the stage for some more lively fare to win the big one, though it was basically the same idea as Boyle's Millions which was critically well-received but not even remotely considered by major award voters. Other than that, M.I.A. got shafted out of being the second FADER coverstar to win an Oscar (first was Eminem, Issue 4), but she needed some rest anyway.
