Way back when Yo Gotti first declared himself the "King Of Memphis," back when Three 6 Mafia were still heavy in the deck, back before he'd even had an album out, even his most genuine fans kind of wrote it off as lion cub rabble-rousing. Today, however, as unsigned as he ever was, with Ball and JG in hibernation, Young Buck having cried himself out of the rap game and Three 6 sliding further and further into the margins, it doesn't seem all that far-fetched. This type of chronological introspection doesn't bode well for everyone, but with all that upside, Gotti's career trajectory, or lack thereof is outright strange. By the looks of things, he's not exactly struggling, but it would also seem that faith is an awfully capable substitute for recognition.
