Montreal-based producer/DJ Poirier has been providing the world with his own idiosyncratic bass-heavy visions of dancehall, soca and various other club musics for several years, but the last one has been particularly busy with three separate EPs, each highlighting his special interests and now finally collected on the Running High double-album with a full set of remixes by Uproot Andy, Maga Bo, Douster and a bunch of other dudes you may have seen here before. This video is the first from Running High and provides, possibly for the first time in internet video history, a firsthand look at what it feels like to be a cute girl's right shoe. Looks pretty fun.
