A graphic t-shirt is certainly nothing new, but fresh and strange variations can keep a classic fresh. Enter these Tender Co. print t-shirts over at Hickoree's Hard Goods, which were inspired by a literary wellspring that has, to our knowledge, not yet been tapped by many clothing companies: Jorge Luis Borges. In this case, the company commissioned Dorrit Dekk, a 93-year-old friend of the Tender family, to interpret The Book of Imaginary Beings, Borges' ode to mythic monsters. The results are as wild and weird as Borges himself, and, at the very least, a whole lot smarter and deeper than your average CBGB tee. More shirts after the jump.
