This new jangle riffer isn't for the pantie-wearing/bong-smoking alone time when you think about how and why your love your man. L.A. super-freak Jesse Spears did the cover art for the BC side of the new split 7″ with Jeff the Brotherhood that it comes from, which she describes as "A WEED LEAF SMOKING A JOINT DRIVING A PINK CAR WITH AN ORANGE CAT IN THE BACK SMOKING A JOINT TOO. AND THERE IS MUSIC NOTE WHEELS. AND FLAMES." It's a fitting look: the less than three minute blitz led by Best Coast's sort-of new drummer Ali Koehler (allergic to cats) sounds like looking your girl-friends in the eye with a desperate smile while trying to find a lighter and un-stick your morning after hangover sweat from the seat of a ravaged Honda at the same time.
