On our way back downtown from a midtown appointment last Tuesday afternoon, it was maybe day twenty of the half frozen/half melted ice tundra and we were in no way on the lookout for fashionable passers-by. But as we descended into the dirty but dry MTA underground, a certain young ruffian caught the eye of resident FADER stylist/icon Mobolaji Dawodu. He resembled something between a young Boy George circa 1982 and a gang member from "A Clockwork Orange," and there was no way we couldn't stop right there in the 34th street subway station and interview him.
