In elementary bustas tried to take my lunch from me/ now them same bustas they prepare my lunch for me. As Houston's leading exporter of perpetual gangsta sadness, the increasingly mysterious Z-Ro works on no man's terms but his own. His albums tend to be announced cryptically only to drop unexpectedly or, as of late, not at all. Right now we're waiting on two— Angel Dust and Meth—both scheduled for release somewhere between today and never. But while we wait, he's been lacing YouTube with this (hopefully weekly?) "Live From The Cold Chamber" freestyle series. True to his Screw Tape origins, the second entry functions more like a fully structured song than a freestyle, rocking an original beat and borrowing its hook from Pimp C. Check below for last week's "Cold Chamber" installment. (via DGB, who also have Ro's recent and frustratingly guest-heavy Mo-City Players tape.)
