In what is probably this weeks most exciting collaboration (no offense uhh Drake and DJ Khaled) Project Patta teamed up with Star Trak refugee Fam-Lay. The beat flips the same mellow O'Jays loop that Jay used for "You Must Love Me" (and that Disco D later decimated for 50's "Ski Mask Way") which means it isn't quite as riotous as one would expect of a track that includes the phrase "featuring Project Pat" on its ID3 tag, but still worth a listen because it crawls into your brain. It's sort of a tribute track, too. A tribute to Project Pat. (In a perfect world every song would be a tribtue to Project Pat.) Pat does his best Project Pat impression, which is what Pat always does. Oddly enough, Fam-Lay does the same, recycling Patta's old "pimp player, hoe layer, money making, bitch breaker" pattern from "Get Da Chewin" for the hook. This is a welcome retread because "Get Da Chewin" is one of the most perfect train running rap songs ever recorded.
