The last time we saw J.W. Anderson, he was sending charming paisley down the catwalks of London. Here, he continues to run with the theme of understated British quirk for Topman’s newest designer collaboration. A black trenchcoat almost looks like something Burberry would create, save for a gaggle of buttons sewn onto the cuffs and belt, and a floral knit seemingly mimics the wallpaper of an 18th century tearoom. There are other noteworthy designers here too, though. Uniforms for the Dedicated gives us a tweed coat and heathered top that is equally appropriate for the English moors or streets of London, and Dexter Wong plays with form and layering in muted tones. All in all, it's a refined collection befitting a modern day Redcoat, and we can't wait for all of it to come stateside.
