We're still trying to figure out what exactly the vibe of Memory Tapes’ most recent album Player Piano is, and after watching this video for "Offers," we've settled on miniature melancholy (this is also a good name for a little boat). The track sounds distant and tiny. All the instruments are recognizable, but compressed into intricate spaces. It's not anything we ever really noticed before—mostly because it didn't exist in contrast to anything—but now that it's paired with this video, which is full of dancers making languid, slow movements, it makes the song feel like a small epic.
