"Jump Out," the new single from Maybach Music's most gully gangster, Gunplay, will have you dead-lifting Buicks. It's the aural equivalent of doing rails with Rambo and makes Bonecrusher sound like Shwayze by comparison. There's a long history of gun shot rap music, from "U Hear Dat" to "Heat" to "Duck and Run". But "Jump Out" has Jerry Bruckheimer-levels of adrenaline, each shot sound punctuated with screams, hellish strings over the chorus, and some of Gunplay's most memorable lyrics.
