Video: Fatzmack, “Drummin’”

In Chicago, the bucket boys are street drummers you're likely to run into outside of sports arenas like the United Center or Wrigley Field. The Chicago Bulls even have an official Bucket Boys team. Fatzmack is a Chicago rapper who was cousins with Pac Man, a figure who loomed large in Chicago hip-hop; until his tragic passing, he had worked heavily with the LEP Bogus Boys and was also the one who encouraged Fatzmack to become a rapper full-time. You can see Pac Man and Fatzmack trading verses with other local artists in this 64th Street cipher video from a few years back. Fatz released a few songs previously: last year's "Blurmp Boi" is a sparse, catchy gem, and this year's "Call of Duty" featured King Louie.
