The Thing’s forthcoming album of cover songs,
The Cherry Thing. This time it's a take on
MF Doom, and though the video treatment doesn't have the kind of wild, early-MTV visuals that
made Cherry famous,"Accordion" is still impactful, with some scary night vision that gives Cherry's kohl-lined, 1960s eyes the creepy appearance of a raccoon's.
The Cherry Thing will be out June 18.
