Following his recent melodic take on Waka Flocka, Halifax's Ryan Hemsworth has set his production sights to the year's greatest rap love song, Future’s "Turn on the Lights." The track was originally produced by Atlanta's Mike Will, who crafted a fairly minimal beat with a simple synth melody that turns like a screw, all of which sometimes cut out into a bubbling sound-bed that feels like making out in a little cave behind a waterfall. Hemsworth isn't so delicate, his bootleg remix more akin to standing under that water, eyes squinting and brows sopped, looking for her.
