Blood Diamonds reveals the B-side to his new single "Phone Sex" (out next tuesday on 4AD), which he describes as a much needed “reply to the notion of dancing all night. A cyborg-ish desire to be human is quite a contrast to being in that perfect moment." Cyborg-ish desires are not completely dissimilar to human ones though, and "Ritual" feels like an offering of endorphins and optimism for everyone, with its mantra-like refrain: take a little piece of me. Blood Diamonds will be playing a show with Le1f in Brooklyn at Glasslands on August 3rd.
