On any given day, you can listen to three or four solid mixes by exciting new artists. Couple that with every new song that comes out, plus videos and other weird internet shit and you're going to be properly overwhelmed. There's probably another new K-Pop viral phenomenon happening and I'm missing it because I'm in here writing about how the internet is overwhelming as a segue into talking about CFCF’s new mix for SSENSE, which interpolates personal favorites (Tricky's "For Real") with everything from Sun Araw to CFCF's spirit musician David Sylvian. At points this gets kind of new agey, but DJ Shadow shows up too, as does the always awesome/unsettling Andy Stott. It's a cohesive mix, perfect for not paying that much attention to, but even better for getting really deep with.
