Update 1/30/2013: Now there's a music video, too, embedded above. Ministry of Sound and Black Butter will release the single on March 15th. Such a killer track.
Syron, the spry British singer who I once saw performing in an allover-print weed dress in a miniature mall in Rotterdam, has been wisely slow to roll out her music, after debuting last year on Rudimental's recently million-viewed "Spoons". Today, premiering on-air on BBC Radio1 (or so we've heard), comes "Here," a pretty fantastic pop song with a yearning chorus that evokes Robyn about as much as Syron's blond hair-flop. The track's restrained trance hits just beg for an over-the-top drum and bass remix. So take a listen. She can take her time if this is what comes out.
