As the story goes, Psychic Twin's Erin Fein came up with the name for the project when she realized that every time she used vocal multi-tracking to write a song, she felt like she was singing a duet with her own, imaginary twin. This Alessandra Hoshor-directed video for "Strangers," the A-Side of a white vinyl seven-inch they have coming out on Polyvinyl, doubles down on the premise with a simple optical manipulation, reminding us that there's something definitely trippy (and even subtly thought-provoking) about seeing a single human being perform the same motions in mirror-reverse. The single is out now digitally, but hard copies hit streets on April 2nd.
