There's something touchingly grotesque about the sight of Jacob Cooper and Stephen Pope squeezing their bodies into nylons and form-fitting dresses and going out to hit on a couple of dudes in a dive bar—especially set to a song like "Afraid of Heights," with its eerie, effects-frankensteined vocal refrain, I'll always be on my own. But then things take a surprisingly chilling turn. "Afraid of Heights" is the title track of Wavves' new full-length, out today via Mom & Pop. Watch another, equally disturbing video in "Demon to Lean On," and revisit our Wavves Gen F profile here. (via Pitchfork)
