Like the rest of the music internet, we regularly look for FACT’s mixes to check up on what's going on across the pond (and further, also sometimes closer). It's all generally good stuff, depending on how far down the electronic music rabbit hole you're willing to go. Unsurprisingly, Grouper’s mix breaks the mold. There's no tracklist, just lots of fragile folk and moments of vocal bliss. It's a weirdly heavy, almost reverent listen, and it's very much worth doing whatever you might do while listening to this, which likely will involve drinking tea or enjoying "jazz cigarettes."
