Instant enthusiastic head-bob to the original; immediate gruff head-snap to the remix. Meet Cambridge singer/producer Kyan, and his debut single, "Rosetta." There's kind of a British Frank Ocean thing going on here—no knock to his own style, or his wherewithal to supplement the track with a Kingdom remix (imagine a tour with the two of them plus Kelela… ooh, there's potential there). In the meantime, UK fans can check him out opening for London Grammar over the next few weeks. The "Rosetta" single comes out in March, to be followed by Kyan's debut EP, The Purple Experiment.
