Beat Culture's excellent "Drifter" single sounds hardly like itself here (both the A and B-side are below, the latter featuring an artist I'm never not happy to hear from, KID A). The original was like a candle's flame blown sideways by bass pressure; SAINT PEPSI's take is sun-shining guitar house in the style of my all time favorite song (at least in the moments I remember it). Bless them all and to all a good Hype Machine placement! "Drifter" is out now on vinyl and on iTunes. Saint Pepsi's new album, GIN CITY, comes out February 25th.
