FADER PREMIERE
Between working as Benny Blanco's chief producer and collaborating with Ludacris, Wiz Khalifa and Jeremih on a recent, Aqua-quoting slow jam, Norway's Cashmere Cat somehow found the time to channel some of his hyper-melodic, globe-trotting weirdness into a debut solo EP for LuckyMe, Wedding Bells. This Peter Marsden-directed video for the title track takes the idea of the album trailer to a literal extreme, cutting together scenes of courtship and conflict from some non-existent indie rom-com and hyping us up for the feature presentation with pseudonymously posted SoundCloud comments. The EP, which strikes a similar balance between serious production values and light-hearted genre trope play, is out on February 11th.
