FADER PREMIERE
Pompadour partners Janelle Monáe and Miguel's "PrimeTime," their slinky vocal showcase from last year's The Electric Lady LP, gets some new life today with a pair of quite different remixes. 20-year-old Polish producer Chloe Martini's even-slower, almost-adult-contemporary-R&B take could have plausibly been the original production—Monáe and Miguel's verses both get excellent billing in her version. LA's Kastle chops things up a bit more, with a house interpretation that's simultaneous futuristic and a bit of a 2-step throwback. Stream them both below, then grab a proper remix EP that also features two new takes on "Dance Apocalyptic" next Tuesday, February 25th. For more on Miguel, read his FADER cover story.
