NYC trio Wet make pop music that's slick and soulful, defenitely of-the-moment but not overly trendy. "Dreams" is a good choice for a remix: spare and mindful of the emotional effect of empty sonic spaces. Here, Australian producer Nic Martin aka UNO Stereo fills in some of those blanks with volatile synths and sped-up percussion, and it stirs up a very different emotion: the desire to turn up.
