Rustie Gets His Claws Out on “Raptor,” Announces New Album

The Glaswegian producer smacks it out the park on the first song from new album Green Language.

June 23, 2014

Glaswegian producer Rustie will release the follow-up to his celebrated 2011 debut album Glass Swords on Warp Records this summer. It's called Green Language and first song "Raptor" takes no prisoners. It explodes like a can of soda, spraying its high-sugar, hyper-caffeinated contents all up in your face. There's a manic joy to be found in surrendering to its frenetic pace—Rustie only keeps upping the ante as the song progresses till it's at Looney Tunes level—which means "Raptor"'s claws get sharper and dig deeper with every listen. Check out the full tracklist here, including D Double E and Danny Brown features, and scroll down for Rustie's upcoming US tour dates.
