Last month we posted "Hold Tight" by Sudanese multi-instrumentalist Ahmed Gallab, who lives in NYC and releases contemporary-feeling soul music as Sinkane. He'll put out a new full-length this fall on DFA Records, and "How We Be" is another promising preview of that release. It's a lazy-river-raft-ride of a track featuring synth sparkles, digital claps, and some emotive flute flourishes. Gallab's voice, per usual, sounds smooth as hell.
