London Producer Dark0 Dreams up a Distant Vision of Earth On “Gaia”

Taken from his forthcoming Fate EP, this Dark0 instrumental is far out in the best of ways.

FADER PREMIERE

If I was a young filmmaker looking to make the next big smart sci-fi flick, I'd get London producer Dark0 on board. In a not dissimilar vein to Planet Mu artist Kuedo, Dark0 makes architecturally-minded music that has its eye on some distant, double moonlit horizon. Having previously released an EP titled Sin on Visionist's Lost Codes label, he's now rustled up another called Fate (that's the artwork above) for Mr Mitch's Gobstopper Records that's due out August 22nd. "Gaia," the name the Ancient Greeks gave to mother earth, is one of Fate's highlights and falls somewhere between instrumental grime, video game soundtrack and synthy new age cassette tape. Tick, tick and tick.
