Watch Philly Songwriter Alex G’s “Hollow” Video
Watch a lo-fi clip for one of the year’s most affecting rock songs.
October 02, 2014
Everything's coming up Alex G. It looks like Philadelphia singer-songwriter's lauded recent full-length, DSU, will get a proper UK release through London-based Lucky Numbers, and he's also inked some sort of stateside deal with Domino Publishing. Impenetrable LP cut "Hollow" has a new video, directed by John Vizzone and premiered by Noisey this morning. It's not the most visually stimulating thing ever—just light projections and close-ups of Alex G, his band and a wrinkly old smoker—but it's a good excuse to revisit one of the year's least pretentious and most affecting rock songs.
