Watch Ryn Weaver’s Surrealist “OctaHate” Video
The burgeoning pop star delivers a video for the song that made her an overnight sensation.

Ryn Weaver's new video for "OctaHate" is a near perfect visual approximation of the song that made the #fairypop godmother an overnight sensation. "The song itself is a tantrum," she once told FADER, "it’s like this “fuck you.'" And so a tantrum she throws, destroying a surrealist stage set with big baby doll eyelashes and a cute mini-me as her partner in crime. There are also several costume changes, a troupe of white mannequin people and butterfly puppets. It really looks like she had a blast making it. Weaver's Promises EP is out now on Friends Keep Secrets/Interscope. And if you're in New York, catch her live debut during CMJ, at the Bowery Ballroom on October 22.
