Lil Durk’s Made A Video For His Remix Of Dej Loaf’s “Try Me”

There's no doubting that Detroit rapper Dej Loaf's "Try Me" has captured the imagination of rappers across the country—just try and count the number of remixes of it that exist. However it feels fitting that Lil Durk came through and made a video for his remix of the track. The combination of in-your-face lyrics and youthful abandon has been the calling card of Chicago rap over these past couple of years, otherwise known as the post-Chief Keef era. But the charming melody of Dej's breakthrough song sits close enough to Durk's own original material that it's nothing but cool hearing these two Midwestern rappers come together with a style that sounds wholly their own.
