Last Friday, we celebrated the unofficial holiday devoted to the musical output of Gucci Mane's 1017 crew, who've created a tremendous amount of Atlanta hip-hop in just a few years, but one of the oft forgotten members connected to the movement was Wooh Da Kid. He lacked the jovial persona and adlibs of his brother Waka Flocka Flame, but his harsh street rhymes along with the crushing production of a young Southside on the Track always left a mark in true fans' ears. From A Kid To A King, his latest release ,features production from Southside and the 808 Mafia crew, and makes it easy to forget he took any time off this past year.
