Kendrick Lamar and Taylor Swift unlikely bond is getting really real, and real fast, too. To recap: While in Puerto Rico with the FADER, Kendrick sang the pop star's praises—and he then went all in and sang a few lines from her latest hit, "Shake It Off." Then this morning– perhaps because she heard his "cover," wanted to return the compliment and already knew all the words—Taylor posted a video of herself lip-syncing good kid, m.A.D.D. city's "Backseat Freestyle" in the front seat of her car. So now this is a thing, and today during a drop-in at Dallas hip hop station K104, Kendrick dropped a quickie freestyle about white girls over Max Martin/Shellback produced "Shake It Off" beat. "That's way out of the genre," he laughed after. "So it's a challenge." How much longer 'till they drop good kid, t.A.y.L.o.R. swift and bring this love story full circle?
