Guess who got to hear Kanye West's much longed-for Yeezus follow-up? Seth Rogen, apparently. In a Rolling Stone story that hits stands Friday, the "Bound 2" satirist lets slip that Kanye cornered him at a New York hotel and invited him out to his limo van for a very exclusive listening session. There was a hitch, though: "There's no lyrics, only beats," Rogen said. "So he raps the whole album, and after each song, he stops it, like, 'So what do you think?' We were in the can for two hours!"
Rogen is not the first to spill that he's heard the new Kanye material in recent days. Earlier this fall, 'Ye acolyte Theophilus London reported that Kanye played the new album not once, but three times in a row at a Paris Fashion Week event. Fingers crossed that we're close by the next time Kanye decides to host one of these ambush-style listening session.
UPDATE 12/15 12:38 p.m.: Pitchfork points out that there's now audio of Seth Rogen telling Howard Stern about hearing Kanye rap his album in his and James Franco's recent interview on Stern's radio show; listen below.
