G.O.O.D. Music’s Benny Cassette Premieres “Sex And Faith” Video
Plus, hints at a upcoming release from “the biggest artist in the camp.”
Benny Cassette has been busy, mostly working behind the boards for an expansive roster of artists that includes everyone from John Legend, Brooke Candy, and the Band Perry. But the G.O.O.D. Music producer is also making time for his own projects, including an EP that he plans to release at the top of next year. It will feature guest appearances by TDE's Isaiah Rashsad, Stacy Barthe, and Pell, as well as early single "Sexy And Faith"—which premieres in video form today. It's a straight forward, visual interpretation for "Sex And Faith"—see: rosary beads, tangles of nearly naked women—which, as he explained in an email to FADER, "is about the struggle of trying to be faithful, monogamous, and in love while also wanting to feed my demons and temptations."
Cassette also revealed some potentially huge news. Asked about other going-ons in the G.O.O.D. Music camp, he told FADER, "There's always multiple projects going on at once in the GOOD camp, so you actually never know what's up next which keeps it exciting. Of course the biggest artist in the camp has something dropping very soon." Very soon, you say?
