Rap beef alert: Funkmaster Flex did not mince words (or bomb-drops) while addressing Jay Z and his Life + Times website on Hot 97 last night. The full ten minute rant can be listened to below (beginning at 10:30), but here's the gist: some years ago Hov's online venture sent a writer to interview about Flex about his new app, and Flex believes that a lot of the ideas he shared ended up going into Jay's less-than-successful Samsung app. "If y'all copied everything you needed from that app, maybe that app would still exist today, but it don't," he says.
More recent inquiry he received from Life + Times regarding his involvement in the upcoming Dipset reunion. And this, Flex ponders, after years of being told he can't play Dipset at The 40/40 Club? "I'm confused," he says. In conclusion: "Your site's trash, a bunch of dumb big pictures and no numbers. You all can't move with me in this digital space," the InFlexWeTrust.com proprietor says. [One million bomb drops.]
