Shlohmo Announces New Album And Shares New Single, “Buried”
Dark Red arrives April 7th.

"It sounds like if Electric Wizard tried to make an R&B record, or if Boards of Canada met Burzum by the River Styx," says Shlohmo of his forthcoming sophomore album in a press release announcing its title and arrival date: Dark Red, on April 7th, via True Panther and the L.A. producer's longtime label, WeDidIt. This good news comes also with a new track that is titled, appropriately enough for this snowy day in the Northeast, "Buried." A fuzzy wash of distorted bass and crackly hi-hats, it dips deeper yet into the darker sound he established with the project's first single, "Emerge From Smoke."
