Watch The Colorful Video For TCTS’ “Coupe De Ville”
Watch the colorful video for the skipping house tune.
I've been intrigued by TCTS' output for a while now, but the Manchester producer's latest single, the Aniff Akinola-featuring "Coupe De Ville," might be his strongest single yet, a warm shuffle of a post-garage tune that sounds like a warm spring day in a bustling city. Now, the tune has a video, accompanied by the type of fuzzy neon colors and eye-popping imagery that suits this type of music so well. "'Coupe De Ville' came about from a day in the studio with Aniff Akinola, where I sketched out beats and he laid down some spontaneous vocals," TCTS told FADER in an email. "In writing 'Coupe' I wanted to reference the origins of house music and its place in the Manchester club scene. It's a throwback vibe, Chicago via the North of England. I lived in Manchester for a long time and Aniff still calls it home, and that city is why I write 4x4 music."
