Bobby Shmurda Called Hot 97 Back This Morning
Despite the circumstances, his spirit seems to be intact.
Last week, Bobby Shmurda phoned in to Hot 97 to give an update on his life in The Tombs, the Manhattan Detention Center where he is being held on conspiracy charges, among other things. The call, however, was cut off after just a few minutes—but this morning he called back, this time with Rowdy Rebel and Remy "Fetti" Marshall on the line, too. They touched on the lack of support they've received from Epic and Sony, the rumors that Bobby's Uncle has plans to bail them out, and the mail they've gotten from Meek Mill and a visit from Slowbucks. Bobby also excitedly revealed that he's been on the hunt for a new manager and trying to get in contact with 50 Cent.
"I come from a nasty neighborhood where the cops don't like the people from where I come, and they couldn't believe that I made it. They've been after me for a whole longtime just because of the neighborhood where I come from," he says before signing off with a big ole' ah ah ahhh—despite the circumstances, his spirit seems to be intact.
