Obama Says That Jay Z And Kanye West Don’t Actually Text Him

Jay Z and Kanye West have often flaunted their proximity to the president, with Jay rapping about having Obama "on the text" and Kanye telling a group of Oxford University students that "Obama calls the home phone." However, President Obama himself has now brought the veracity of these comments into question. During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Thursday night, POTUS explained, "I don't text. I email. I still have a Blackberry"—thusly crushing Jay's claims (as well as dashing our dreams of a Barack-Jay-Michelle-Beyoncé group text). And while he had kind words to share about Kanye—"I love his music, he's incredibly creative"—he was clear: "I don't think I have his home number." What can we believe these days?
