Flying Lotus' production is practically the first thing you hear on Kendrick Lamar's new album, To Pimp A Butterfly—pretty big look for the West Coast producer, who's worked with Kenny on tracks previously. Last night, when the album dropped, the FADER cover star took to Twitter to tell his own story regarding what inspired Kendrick's new LP:

I was really surprised how he gave zero fucks about the media circus surrounding the tour. Was real low key trying to create, the whole time
