Migos have pushed back the release of their debut album, YRN Tha Album, from June 16 to July 31. Today they’ve shared a new song from the record, “Migos Origin,” which is half origin story, half response to all the fuss over where their flow came from.
All of this means that the June 16-emblazoned shirt Migos gifted me at this year’s FADER FORT in Austin is a rare collectible. At least sort of—the group’s Versace and Iceberg-inspired Yung Rich Nation clothing line, originally planned for release in conjunction with the album, is still on track to drop on June 16. Spring collection T-shirts will be available at Tilly’s CityGear and Sneaker Villa; fall jeans and fleece hoodies will drop on July 15.
In April, Migos postponed a tour planned to begin in May after all three of its members were arrested and detained in Bulloch County, Georgia. Migos member of Offset remains in jail there. This month, he was denied bond, reportedly because of his criminal record and a fight with another inmate.
